Well when we write we have to write our president first. When Glazier was president, I wrote to him in english. Now that we have president Vasquez, I have to write in spanish so it takes a lot longer now which leaves me less time to read and write e-mails. I get about an hour to write. But it doesnt matter. No one really writes me anymore so I don't have to worry too much.
Sounds like you guys are having a blast and getting to spend a lot of time with Josh. I can imagine the struggle you had with the girls trying to replace a flat tire hahaha.
I havn't been transferred yet. This Wednesday is changes so we will find out. I've enjoyed my time with Elder Caldwell. I forgot to mention we celebrated Pioneer`s Day with hamburgers, chips, and American music sung by Mormon Tab. It was awesome cause we had root beer that was sent by Elder Caldwell's family. Root beer doesn't exist here so it was a really nice treat. Anyways, we have been having a lot of success, too. We have 8 baptismal dates, most of them are positive.
One of our investigators and his señora are going to be baptized. They had a specific date but now we are just waiting for him to divorce his wife that he married 35 years ago. He married her and they were together for a few months and she left him taking all he had. He can't marry the lady he is with because he still married to the other lady. He can't divorce her because the wife wants money. He cant work because he can barely walk. He just got back from the hospital a couple days ago. All this and he still goes to the church every sunday. He has every reason to stay home from church, but he's not like most people here. He doesn't make excuses for anything. Him and his family keep commitments and are growing spiritually. We decide do review the restoration with them and half way through the lesson when we finished talking about the first vison, they asked if it was okay to have a testimony of these things before being baptized in the church. We simply replied, "Hermana, si, està bien." hahaha. This family has been through a lot, yet they have a strong desire to be apart of this church and be baptized. The Lord has prepared this family and I hope to see them get baptised. It will be sad if I change areas. I just hope they get baptized.
Love you mom, thanks for writing me. I love you very much. Tell the family I love them very much.
