This week has been great. As usual I`m having ups and downs. We have two new baptismal dates for the 31st of May. One of them came to church with us. A 23 year-old guy who lives with his parents. The other we haven`t been able to contact since our first lesson. We have also been teaching this guy who has a family. He has kids but he`s not married to the mother. We've been teaching him for the last 3 weeks and he has become more open and responsive to our message. All that he needs to do is go to church and get married.
The area is great. The people are nice. My area has dirt and paved roads. There is a different Church on every block and they all seem to be screaming and singing every time we walk passed them. This last week was Semana Santa. Basically El Salvador celebrates Easter starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday. So there was extra screaming and singing.
My companion and I are doing good. He likes to take care of me. He`s also the district leader for our area. The work is hard, but it is always worth it at the end of the night. I sometimes feel like I enjoy the week days more than P-day. I'm getting more used to the mission. I'm not sick anymore, I've been good. The language is still in progress. I don't exactly know what people are saying, but I have been able to teach. Most of the time I just surprise myself when the words flow out. I don't usually remember what I said either. But it seams to make sense to my companion and my investigators.
